Coinbase announced that Coinbase Pro is adding a cryptocurrency dogecoin trading service and accepting Dogecoin transfers into their professional trading accounts. Coinbase said that once the liquidity conditions are met, it is expected to launch at 9 a.m. Pacific time Jun. 3rd or after. Dogecoin’s price was up to USD 0.36 per coin after this news came out.

This cryptocurrency was just treated as a joke when it appeared. However, due to Tesla CEO Elon Musk constantly mentioning it on Twitter after 2021, its price has soared.

Dogecoin’s price was USD 0.36 now, and it has risen by almost 8000% this year. However, compared with the all-time high in May 2021, the current price of Dogecoin has fallen by more than 50%.

Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong is a supporter of Dogecoin. He announced the exchange plan to list Dogecoin within 6 to 8 weeks during an earnings call last month.
