Bitget is well-known for its futures trade rather than it spot trade. Bitget is unlike BitMEX or ByBit, it supports spot trading for users based on USDT that you can implement arbitrage trading through spot and futures or a strategy to use 1x Sell/ Short. Also, you can act as a coin trader to deposit Bitcoin or other major altcoins to the BitGet exchange, and then you can exchange them for USDT; and use them to trade in futures. Here I will tell you how to trade cryptocurrency spot on BitGet exchange.
Step 1. Enter Bitget Exchange→Click “Spot” on the top
➢ After logging in Bitget, click “Spot” in the upper left corner!
Step 2. Check each item of spot on BitGet platform!
➢ Bitget interface is simple and easy to understand!
➢ Here I will explain the spot interface on Bitget platform by labeling each section with number.
(1) Current trading status
➢ You can see numerous coins supported by BitGet exchange.
➢ Just select the coin pair you like to trade and start trading!
(2) Real-time chart
➢ You can track historical and current price movements of the coin you selected on the real-item chart.
➢ According to your strategy, you can proceed to trade by referring to the chart.
(3) Order window
➢ Here you can buy and sell the specified coin.
➢ You can trade by selecting the order method, transaction price and quantity.
(4) Position status
➢ If you place the bid or ask price on the limit order, you can check it in the open order.
➢ As soon as the order is completed, you can check your order in “Order History” and “Order Detail”
(5) Order book
➢ In the order book, you can monitor real-time quotes and current transactions.
➢ Based on the current price located in the middle, the quotes above are the selling volume, and the quotes below are the buying volume.
Step 3. Check the risk that may occur when you trade spot on BitGet exchange!

➢ Bitget supports major altcoins including Bitcoin!
Step 4. How to trade spot on BitGet exchange!
In this example, we will trade the most popular and high volume BTC/USDT pair.
➢ First, select an order method in the order window (limited order or market order)! Then enter the price and amount! When you use the market order, you automatically buy at the current price!
➢ You can directly enter the amount to buy or adjust the specific gravity by dragging the gauge at the bottom left and right.
➢ Select your order method → Set the price → Set the amount → Click “Buy BTC”!!
➢ You have finished the order! You can check the order you just purchase in “Order Detail” on Position Status!
➢ Now let's do the Sell BTC!
➢ Select your order method → Set the selling price → Set the amount → Click “Sell BTC”!!
➢ You have finished the order! You can check the exact date, type, price, amount, total and fees in the order details!
